CALL FOR ENTRIES 2013
CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION
SUBMISSION DEADLINE: March 1st, 2013
Send us your short features, animations, trash movies, documentaries, and music videos. We bring everything on screen that is freaky, crafty, slick, hard-boiled, and witty! Everything is allowed - as long as it's short and cheap!
As a short film festival for low & no budget productions, ClipAward explicitly addresses independent filmmakers who make films without big money.
- The clips may not be realized within the scope of film studies (e.g., seminar work).
This, however, does not mean that film and media students are generally excluded from participation. You may apply with movies that were realized in your leisure time. - The production costs may not exceed 500 Euro per minute
- The maximum length is 15 minutes
- The submission is limited to max. 2 clips per applicant
- The screening copy must be a DVD or a digital video file
Please, do not send any vimeo/youtube links but files in screening quality that are downloadable (please, provide the password, if needed). Due to technical reasons, we accept only MPEG-2 or MPEG-4 or H.264-codes files in the formats .VOB, .MOV, .MP4, .M4V. Max. Resolution is 1280 x 720; no Full-HD. - The shorts have to be subtitled in German or English.

HOW TO APPLY
- Please read the conditions for participation
- Fill in the ONLINE FORM to complete your application!
- Afterwards, upload your film using a server of your choice (e.g., wetransfer.com, up to 2GB) and provide the link in the online form. You can also use vimeo.com, but remember to provide us with a password to allow the download.
Alternatively, you can also send your clips (DVD) via post to the following address:
